Every city in Texas is a gem, including Grand Prairie. I am a little biased because I have a lot of family in Texas and lived there for nine years. Plus, I love to write travel articles. One of my favorite things to do is to look at a new city and bring you some of the best restaurants there. Grand Prairie has approximately 700 of them, and so you are in for a treat. Let’s take a look at four of the top restaurants in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Mariano’s Hacienda looks like a great place to visit, and it is on Majesty Drive. It shows you how close Grand Prairie is to Arlington, too, because this restaurant is technically in Arlington. The brisket tacos in the menu highlights already have my attention, and there are plenty of other menu items to rave about, let me tell you. This could be one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants I’ve ran across in awhile. It is the #1 restaurant listed for Grand Prairie TX on a top travel site.
Piccolo Mondo stuck out to me as having a cool name and looking like a good spot in Grand Prairie to get Italian food. It is on East Lamar Boulevard, and reviewers say that it has a really nice atmosphere. The dishes there sound a little unique, so prepare yourself for a different type of experience at Piccolo Mondo.
Chapps Cafe is located on North State Highway 360, and it is is a wonderful spot in Grand Prairie to get burgers and fries. The signature menu item that everyone talks about though is what is called Nolan Ryan’s Beef, and it comes with fried potatoes. This sounds like the top spot on the list so far to me. One person talks about ordering the chicken sandwich and mentioned it was as good as the burgers.
I know I said the last one was the best on the list so far, but this one takes the prize. Good Day Cafe serves up Country Fried Steak, and a picture of it is right in front of me on a top travel site. That is my favorite food, so this restaurant wins. Good Day Cafe is located on South Carrier Parkway, and both enchiladas and chicken and waffles also make the menu highlights. So you know where I would choose to go first out of these four top restaurants in Grand Prairie TX.
